When I Can Water

Without OASIS, lawn watering is restricted to two days per week:

Sundays and Thursdays for homes and businesses with addresses ending in even numbers, and Wednesdays and Saturdays for odd numbers.

With OASIS, you can water any day of the week before 10 a.m. and after 4 p.m.

If Broward County or the South Florida Water Management District restricts watering days even more – which can happen during droughts or through other conservation measures – you’ll still be able to water any day of the week.

The best time to water, of course, is just before the sun comes up. That way, you maximize the availability of water for plants — before the sun evaporates it. All homeowners must comply with the irrigation restrictions of watering before 10 a.m. and after 4 p.m.
